In search of the perfect exterior paint color when preparing to sell?

When this Salem Oregon home hit the market, it had a fresh look and tons of curb appeal (and sold quickly).
Would it have sold for top dollar if the sellers hadn’t opted for an improved paint palette?
It has a different feel doesn’t it?
We love this grey paint color and white contrasting trim.
