Each week we do dozens of staging consultations — advising home sellers on decluttering, fixes needed prior to listing and making sure their homes are ready to impress for showings and the all-important listing photos.
Often I will hear from sellers – “with the market being so good for home selling do I REALLY need to paint?”
This lovely Salem home is a perfect example. The wall paint was in good condition and the house well maintained. But, this beige color I would have recommended 10 to 15 years ago. The house felt dull and dated. Once painted, this home had a light, fresh look. More importantly it FELT up-to-date and pristine.
Bottom line — want to sell faster or for more money? It’s time to get some paint on that paint brush!

Zillow tested 15 colors to find out which made the biggest impact in the bathroom, kitchen, living room and primary bedroom.”
